The alias for this alternate Canon protocol resides in /usr/libexec/cups/backend (the original resides in /Library/Printers/Canon/CUPS_Printer/backend/backend.bundle/Contents/Library) and is new for this UFR2/LIPSLX driver - at least I've not seen it before with previous versions of this v10.x driver.
